| Proof of Coverage | The answer to one question: What was tested, and what was claimed but not tested? |
| Claim Declaration | The anchored record of the claim, subject, scope and limits, registered before any evidence |
| Claim Record | The record of a Determination |
| Determination | proven, refuted or insufficient |
| Declarant | The party that registers a Claim Declaration (IP-C1) |
| Resolver | The party that computes a Determination from registered records (IP-C2) |
| Claimed Set | Every capability the Provider claimed in writing, from the Claim Sheet. |
| Tested Set | Every claimed item and planned technique class with at least the declared minimum of scored Units of Proof. |
| Coverage Ratio | The size of the Tested Set divided by the size of the Claimed Set. |
