| Proof of Attribution | The answer to one question: Which control actually stopped the attack? |
| Claim Declaration | The anchored record of the claim, subject, scope and limits, registered before any evidence |
| Claim Record | The record of a Determination |
| Determination | proven, refuted or insufficient |
| Declarant | The party that registers a Claim Declaration (IP-C1) |
| Resolver | The party that computes a Determination from registered records (IP-C2) |
| Active Run | The run with the named control enabled. |
| Ablated Run | The matched run with only the named control disabled. |
| Attributed Share | The Stopped rate of the Active Run minus the Stopped rate of the Ablated Run, per technique class. |
