Proof Protocol / PP-SPEC-081-UMPIRE-ASSAY-PROTOCOL

AI Disclosure

How this specification was made, and by whom.

Summary

Reproof is Craig Ellrod's idea. Claude helped with the research and drafted the words.

Craig Ellrod originated reproof, an independent party re-proving a proof, published the reproducibility requirement in the Proof Economy Prior Art Declaration (2026-07-10, Category 4a), and directed the research into whether Proof Protocol already specified it. Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, carried out that research at his direction, found that PP-SPEC-077 to 079 define record verification but not reproof, and drafted this specification under his direction. Claude was not the instigator of the idea or of the authorship.
